By 1542, the Royal Hospital of San Pedro began to be built, it stands out for its elegant double-arched quarry courtyard, being the second largest in the city of Puebla. It became over time, a space of innovation and avant-garde for medical science, especially in the nineteenth century. In 2002, the current San Pedro Museum of Art was created, which has hosted important international and national exhibitions, in which all the artistic expressions of man have been accommodated, from archaeological to contemporary ones.
