It is located where the Mexican Railroad station was located, inaugurated on September 15, 1869 by President Benito Juárez.
It was inaugurated in 1988, dedicated to the protection, study, rescue and dissemination of Mexican rail heritage. In this attractive museum, you will find the most precious goods produced by the Mexican railways in its magnificent collections.
Currently, the Museum acquired the status of National Center for the Preservation of the Cultural Heritage Railroad. Among its main attractions are: passenger cars, a permanent exhibition of locomotives, cabins, freight cars, machinery, tools used in the operation of railways, courses and workshops, dramatized guided tours, conferences and concerts.
