Within a beautiful house in the historic center, the museum presents three collections to the public
Pre-Hispanic Collection: A burial related to the Olmec culture, located near the courtyard of the house with ceramic pieces and human bones.
Mayólica and Talavera Collection: A restored collection of ancient Mayan and Talavera pottery from the time of the founding of the city recovered during the reconstruction of the house.
Mixteco-Zapoteca Collection. An extraordinary collection for the first time exhibited, consisting of human skulls with intentional deformation, long bones, giant trumpet snails, limestone jambs and lintels and other objects from the Mixteco-Zapoteca region of Oaxaca and Puebla, Mexico.
